Climate Change at the Schoolyard’s Edge: Unity Charter School Students Lead Innovative Workshop for NJ Educators

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Educators from across New Jersey gathered at Unity Charter School on November 18, 2025, for an inspiring hands-on workshop titled Climate Change at the School Yard’s Edge. Presented by Unity’s seventh-grade students in collaboration with the school’s Science Integrationist, Erin Colfax, the event showcased how student leadership and place-based learning can bring the New Jersey Climate Change Standards to life.
