Volunteer Opportunities

Without our dedicated and active community, Unity Charter School wouldn’t be what it is today. Thanks to our parent volunteers, we have the ability to make a positive impact on our students and our environment, while saving our school significant funds.

We encourage participation and volunteerism from Unity Charter School parents, as this is a long-standing tradition of our commUnity. There are many ways to get involved at Unity, and we encourage parents to participate in whichever activities feed their unique interests and talents.

The majority of our volunteer support is needed for our events and in our kitchen during lunch hours (10:00 am – 2:00 pm, M-F). We also welcome participation with the following initiatives: instruction, serving on board committees, building and playground maintenance, gardening, and other sustainable efforts.

We encourage all parents to volunteer in some capacity during the school year, and we graciously accept all assistance, from one-time participation to ongoing support. You can sign up for a day, a week, a month or even the whole year, or for one event or several.
