New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) – Math, ELA, & Science

The New Jersey Student Learning Assessment measures student proficiency in Math, ELA, and Science according to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.

These standards require schools to teach students to not only the conceptual understanding of key ideas in math, but also by continually returning to organizing principles (coherence) such as place value and the laws of arithmetic to structure those ideas.

We hold our students to high, cross-disciplinary literacy expectations that must be met for them to be prepared to enter college and workforce training programs ready to succeed.

Students will use science and engineering practices, to make sense of phenomena, and to design solutions to problems.
