This past Saturday, the Unity Charter School gathered for its annual Veggie Que, an event that brings together families, staff, and students to celebrate the fruits of their labor, quite literally. This year’s event, with over 200 participants, was particularly special, as the vegetables served in many of the dishes came straight from the school garden, grown by the students themselves.

Unity Charter School and The New Jersey School of Conservation (NJSOC), in collaboration with Ramapo College, is thrilled to announce a series of Climate Change Professional Development workshops for K-12 public and charter school teachers across New Jersey.

In the heart of Morris County, New Jersey, Unity Charter School has long been a pillar of innovative education, where students are not just taught but inspired to become the leaders of tomorrow.

In a significant boost to environmental education, Unity Charter School has been awarded a $67,000 grant by the New Jersey Department of Education. This grant, under the Climate Change Education and Resilience initiative, will see Unity Charter School partnering with the Watershed Institute and the Morris Environmental Commission to spearhead the "Sustainable Horizons: Interdisciplinary Climate Change Education" project.
