MORRISTOWN, NJ - Audrey Ku, an eighth-grade student at Unity Charter School, was honored on Wednesday, April 2, with the prestigious Morris County Unsung Hero Award, presented by the Morris County School Boards Association (MCSBA) in partnership with the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA).

This past Saturday, the Unity Charter School gathered for its annual Veggie Que, an event that brings together families, staff, and students to celebrate the fruits of their labor, quite literally. This year’s event, with over 200 participants, was particularly special, as the vegetables served in many of the dishes came straight from the school garden, grown by the students themselves.
